Listening to music on the excellent www.Pandora.com a few months ago their algorithms recommended the band Sigur Ros to me. I love their sound– excellent for background music while working with no English lyrics to distract — and have also learned about the similar bands Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai. They are known as “post rock” groups and they light my fire.
